Oportys a.s. has achieved further success when we have achieved excellent monetization yields on 3 public auctions of the debtor FAU s.r.o. (FAU LLC).
The total number was 1,2 million liters of fuel, namely diesel and gasoline ("BA95"). The biggest challenge of this monetization was to coordinate the opinion of the General Directorate of Customs and the General Financial Directorate in the context of excise duty. The fuel was in different tax regimes - the free tax regime and the conditionally exempt regime.
As auctioneers, we had to deal with complex legislation on the possibility of fuel monetization, excise duty and value added tax.
The largest volume of diesel was auctioned by the leading Czech registered fuel distributor, the remaining part was auctioned by a registered gas station operator.
